New Eternal Player here on Switch looking for tips on better controls when deck building Posted: 07 Jul 2021 08:15 AM PDT I'm a new player on Switch, and I haven't memorized card mechanics (ex. Tribute, Amplify, etc). And I can't get the mechanics explanation when using ZL on the deck edit screen. I can see them when I choose cards on Forge and when in matches, but is there a way to read them when deck building? [link] [comments] | ||
A possible bug, and how it could help you Posted: 07 Jul 2021 04:59 AM PDT I'm assuming this is a bug, but when you cast [[Reset the Day]], if you have voidbound cards in your hand, they don't get shuffled into the deck. Also, no matter how many or few cards they shuffle in, they always draw out seven. So, if you're playing the [[Pinnacle of the Reach]]/[[Dichro's Ruin]]/[[Meditative Trance]] deck in Expedition, and you're trying to cast a Reset to stabilize your life total, then it's generally better to use the Reset in your hand, since you can keep the [[Davia]] to recast it next turn. Also, if you're playing against that deck, you can estimate how many Davia (and/or Glimpse Another Age, in the case of my deck) the opponent has in their hand by seeing how many more cards than seven they end up with. Knowing whether or not your opponent has a Davia in hand can really change how you play the matchup (for instance, if they have a [[Fall to Ruin]] in their void, and you think they have a Davia in hand, probably not best to dump onto the board right after they cast their big self-healing draw seven). Finally, yes. I did submit a bug report. [link] [comments] |
