old league cardbacks, and other cosmetics. Posted: 01 Feb 2021 06:06 AM PST Good morning Eternal players! This was brought up over the weekend on stream, and I wanted to hear your thoughts. Cosmetics are a great way for a company to make money off of a game like this, and being a player that started back in Defiance, I would love the opportunity to own some of the previous league cardbacks. This led to a discussion about cosmetics in general. How do you feel if you are an owner of a card back if it becomes purchasable in the store? Does it make you sad/bothered at all if a card back from a year or more ago is now available again? This also leads to some of the playmats/premium sigils as well. Do you feel that these things should stay time exclusive, or should these things be in the store after a certain timeline for everyone to purchase? I feel like opening up the ability to own some of the older cosmetics could both allow further customization as well as provide a possible new area of revenue for Direwolf. I own the first set of premium sigils and am not bothered in the least bit if others have the ability to own them that started the game yesterday. Thanks for reading, and I look forward to your thoughts! [link] [comments]

Posted: 01 Feb 2021 08:01 AM PST So I've been thinking a lot, Valkyries being my one most fav. tribe of Eternal, both lore- and gameplay wise, what could help Valkyries as they are really struggling still. One thing is for sure a GOOD 1-cost unit that does something nice, or another 2-cost, but it has to be cheap and support the overall deck synergy, not quite sure what it would have written on it, though. And another thing would be a card, either that unit, but most likely a cheap spell, that has as a secondary line: "Valkyrie-Ally: Draw a card, then put a card from your hand on top of your deck." Valkyries have always had the issue that usually they start out very slow for the first 2-3 turns and now with Valkyrie-Warp might be inconsistent if you draw into the cards at really bad moments. There needs to be a reason to be proactive in this game. Posted: 31 Jan 2021 06:18 PM PST I understand that the idea behind this game was to get away from the Mtg turn 4 and done scenarios that became the norm in modern and beyond. Thus the 25 life and 75 deck. However when it comes to the place where everyone is playing "optimally" and nobody is fecking do anything, it sure makes for a shitty game. If this is the plan, make decks 10 cards and see who blinks. This is aggro's place, make it check discard and cheap removal. Unfortunately it seems to have become the antithesis, and is promoting reactive control, which is boring for a game. I understand that aggro rush is equally dull, but playing a game that encourages waiting for the opponent to act is no game at all. Also, Speaking circle takes too long for a CCG. Nobody wants to wait while someone picks bo3 three bloody times, just to play removal. [link] [comments]
Anyone got a good budget deck list for throne. Posted: 31 Jan 2021 02:36 PM PST I've got a decent collection of common and uncommon and mostly old rares. But seem to keep getting my arse handed to me when I try to play ranked. Any links are greatly appreciated. [link] [comments] |
