I haven't seen much talk about this card, nor has there been a nerf on it which I expected immediately; am I part of the few -if any- that think this card breaks games? The only reasonable way to deal with it is a removal spell, and if you don't draw one your opponent stabilizes and you can never get through... It's also confusing as hell.

If we had more control or combo decks there could be downside to the card...

Iadria is a combat-breaking nightmare, but the feln colors are so stacked with juicy cards; regen market mandrake, hand disruption and mana fix at 2, iadria, feln champion, moon, 4 cost vara - what MORE can we give this color combination? Burkhart... I know you love blue-black in mtg, but this has got to stop man hahaha...

I am looking forward to some balancing, or a new set to shake things up but taking a break from 'mother of the skies' into 'Iadria' into 'I just locked you out of combat oh boy wait until I get my feln champion'.deck

New player here. Draft highlights the shortcomings in this game wonderfully.

I'm now 0-6 in my first two drafts, 5 losses literally all from energy starvation.

But in other card games you'd be hard-pressed to starve. In other games search cards, draw cards, energy search, etc. aren't incredibly rare, luxury items like they are in Eternal. You dont lose turn 1 in many games simply because you didn't get a great hand.

And thus, drafts exquisitely highlights the pitfalls in Eternal. When you can't hand-make your deck with all of the rare, expensive draw/search cards you get to see exactly what this game is.

A gamble. That's it. It's long-form poker, without the chips and a chance of winning earnings. Draft, forge, the monthly, they're all literally just rolling dice and seeing if you're fortunate enough to get a couple wins.

Draw cards, search cards, etc, should not be a luxury in a card game. They're exactly what separates Magic, Pokemon from just flat-out gambling, and chance.

/rant.

Going 0-6 because of energy draw can do things to a man...
