| Posted: 30 Sep 2020 05:36 PM PDT Part brag part FYI, i guess. First time getting Rank 1 in Sealed (4 hrs before reset, so probably can still drop out of Rank 1?) A few reminders to myself and to others who care to read: Curving is important in limited formats - Schaab has a good article on This. It's written with draft in mind but it applies to Sealed as well. Sealed is usually known as a format where you "play all your bombs" but you have to do it responsibly or not do it at all. Take your time with your gameplay decisions, and do not think because your deck is good you get to play sloppy. Know your deck, if you can't memorize what's in your deck, take a picture and put it next to you so you can better "play to your outs". Generally, if you want to rank higher, don't play the deck unless you are at least comfortable with it, for some that could be week 4! I never really follow this rule because I find it hilarious to play trash piles that eventually transforms into something playable over the weeks. As a result my average finish is 26-14.
