I was wondering if I could get some advice on card choices, card numbers, and for gods sake the power base. Cylix nerf hurts but this deck is control-ish with a combo inevitability. Stay alive, give Makto Echo. This deck has been 3 colors for the longest time, but I decided it NEEDS Primal, for Transpose, draw, and that sweet sweet market. Thanks in advanced. Help Understanding the Emblems Posted: 11 Feb 2021 01:20 AM PST I'm confused why the Emblems are good. There is a spoiler that works really well with the Emblems Smuggler's Toll to damage the opponent for 3 every time you play an Emblem but in most situations, I don't understand why Emblems are used. I pretty much avoid using Emblems in my decks as I think that the units that the Emblems create are lackluster and I don't want to damage myself/decimate for something underwhelming. Additionally, I feel like the Emblems pigeon-hole you into having to use the decimate effect in order to see any real benefit- else you'd just be taking 1 damage to gain an influence and max power, and this seems worse than just playing a sigil. At least with Monument power cards, you're able to create units and not take damage in doing so. Even the units made seem to be much better too. Transmute power cards are such a nice way to get units and spells late game when you don't need a power anymore, which I concede that Emblems are better in regards to not automatically coming in as a unit, but I don't understand their inclusion in decks over other power cards because the units seem pretty weak to me and the drawbacks in using Emblems are confusing to me. Literally no presence in the TCG/ccg market. What's not to love about it? It even has a very good cheap rip off feeling to it. The game just plays itself on autopilot, perfect for laid back chill time. And the best part, it's delusional player base that refuses to accept how terrible the game is, and routinely shits on other games. Such a lively community. This game is honestly so good.
