| Budget Gauntlet grinder: Feln Flyers (63:1) Posted: 26 Jun 2021 01:25 AM PDT This is a peasant (only commons and uncommons, no campaign cards) deck specifically designed for Gauntlet that I worked on over the last few days (with the help of the Team Gauntlet discord, especially Siatarr and Nordos). It has a surprisingly high run winrate so far (9 out of 10 seven win runs), so I wanted to share it. It is only intented for Gauntlet tho, I cant give any insight on playing it in throne (I assume it will do fine in lower ranks, but wont be good enough to get a decent winrate once you start to see full on meta decks). And some of the cards in the deck are really only good in the specific context of this deck, so I would only advise on crafting it if you plan to play a fair bit of Gauntlet or already have most of the cards. | Ambitious Mandevilla in expedition Posted: 26 Jun 2021 04:44 AM PDT I find myself struggling to compete against the insane tempo swings this card creates as an aggro deck, it kills my priority 2/1, then stays up as a 3/4 life steal blocker? For 5 power? Mid-aggro decks just aren't fast enough to compete against that. It feels a bit like playing against jekk, mercenary Hunter. Such a massive tempo swing. Been playing the mid range praxis deck, losing a lot to both mid range xenan and feln control. Can basically account all my losses to my opponent slamming this on the board. Any tips? Posted: 26 Jun 2021 04:29 AM PDT I didn't have to go online, look it up on Youtube, or even visit Eternal Warcry to know that there must have been some Shadow, Fire, Justice midrange/control deck that performed well in a recent tournament because in the span of 24 hours, this archetype went from not existing in Ranked, to 90% of my games.
