    Many moons ago, I accidentally compiled all of the dates for Promos, Campaigns, and Sets so far, and put them in a list with links to each thing. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    A returning player asked for some help getting caught up on what they've missed, and I started off just listing sets and mechanics, then campaigns, and then I figured they probably missed out on the promos too.

    Then I found myself linking them, then putting them in the right order, and now I've created a monster.

    Sunday Oct 27th Tournament: Expedition Format!

    Hi all. I've decided to host a tournament this Sunday. We need to keep this tournament ball rolling in preparation for the ECQ in November. Test your Expedition decks this Sunday!

    The Details

    The Rules

    • Minimum 75 card decks + legal markets
    • Maximum 4 copies of each non-sigil card in your deck
    • Decks must follow the Flame of Xulta Expedition legality
    • 4 rounds of swiss followed by top 4 playoff
    • Best-of-3 rounds, finals will be Best-of-5
    • Participants must allow spectating mode for coverage
    • EternalWarcry decklist links required
    • Select feature matches of the swiss rounds will be streamed, the playoff will be streamed in its entirety(Credit to u/Telemokos for these bullet points. And thanks and kudos to u/Telemokos for hosting Tuesday's successful tournament!)

    I was really excited for Burr-Spore when it was originally spoiled and I immediately replaced Harbinger from my set 5 list. I think I've won 4 games in a row off of the mastery activation alone. A late game doubled up Re-read or Honor of Claws is absolutely back breaking. Feln has plenty of removal to clear the way and I think it's the ideal home for it.

    [Returning Player] Expedition economy approach?

    Hey guys another question from me.

    I returned for Expedition after 2-3 years of break and after you told me they are serious about Expedition I am excited for it.

    Issue: I don't really know how to farm cards for Expedition...
    Before you start posting you New Players guide I know how to get started in Eternal and here lies the issue. Golden/Diamond packs are random from all sets, Forge & gauntlet upgrade packs are base set. All in all this means that most of the rewards are get have a high chance of not being Expedition apliccable. Particularly because the cards in Expedition taht I HAVE are the empty thrones acrds. The new set Legendaries & rares are the issue.

    Draft seems to be best as it overlaps with Expedition but are there any way to gain gold except the 500 from the daily quest?

    Issues with Ipad

    Sometimes when I play on iPad it is fine but other times I can't interact properly with cards. I can touch a card to move it slightly, but cannot drag it into play. I don't have this problem with other card games so I don't think it is a specifically my iPad problem. Does anyone have this issue? Any work around?

    Event for new Players

    We need a co-op mode so we can get friends hooked on Eternal

    It's very hard to bring in new players, but it's fairly easy to get a friend to play random co-op games. DWD's campaign mechanics are a perfect fit for the casual, chaotic play typical of 4 player TCG games. I would be more than happy to buy a co-op campaign, even with no special cards, and I believe that the development expenses would more than pay for themselves between campaign purchases and spend by new players introduced to the game. My dream implementation would include a campaign, a co-op gauntlet reusing the campaign opponents, and *drool* 2v2 forge. Of course the interface would be messy, and balance would be far from perfect, but that's how formats like Commander are supposed to be. A lot of people enjoy chaotic, casual formats. Upvote if you would be willing to buy a co-op campaign and would like to see this moved way up on DWD's to-do list.
