When I go Casual with a sub-zero winrate deck for some Crown fun and opponents keep Ruining/Boring/Disjunctioning/Burglarize/ Banishing/Kaleb's Intervening my Crowns every goddamn run...

"The Witching Hour Playmat Skin will be available separately for 1,000 gems."

    Posted: 31 Oct 2019 09:28 AM PDT

I already bought 2 boxes of Fox and I have one of the Pale Rider avatars from last year. I'd like to buy just the playmat. Is it being released after the bundle? Am I blind and just not seeing it in the store?

I'm interested in the lore of Myria: why there's asymmetrical technology, why things look post- apocalyptic, the source of magic etc. Is there any outside lore reading?

    Posted: 31 Oct 2019 11:52 AM PDT

MtG and similar games have novels or graphic novels and such. I'm new and curious about the story. Character stories great but I'd like to know more about Myria and it's history.

    What are Chapter Points?

    Posted: 31 Oct 2019 08:22 AM PDT

As the month draws to a close and I revel in my ability to remain hard stuck gold in Throne i noticed that underneath my rank and name in the "Profile" section I see a tally of 900 "Chapter Points" for my D3 Expedition. Does anyone know what these are for?

Why can't decks have less than 25 power?

    Posted: 30 Oct 2019 10:27 PM PDT

Mayhe this is a dumb question, but has power always been restricted to a set amount? And how come?

The Witching Hour Collection and Separate Playmat Not Available on Switch?

    Posted: 31 Oct 2019 12:31 PM PDT

Was looking forward to spending the gems exclusive to the Switch Store but noticed both the Witching Hour Collection Bundle and the separate related playmat are not showing up in the store in the Switch version of Eternal, even after updating. Is this intended?

    Witching Hour Package question

    Posted: 31 Oct 2019 11:38 AM PDT

Are the 4 pale rider avatars in the witching hour package the same as the ones that I already have from previous packages a couple of years ago? I don't care about the box of boosters or draft tickets i just want the new playmat totem and I'd rather spend 1000 gems then 4000 if I can get all the cosmetics.

Are QCP awarded for multiple formats?

    Posted: 31 Oct 2019 09:50 AM PDT

The announcement said that QCP will be awarded for the top 100 ranked masters. I'm wondering, is this in all 3 formats, ranked, expedition, and draft? If so, can you more get points for being top 100 in multiple formats or is it just your highest one?

To illustrate the question, let's say I'm currently ranked 50-ish in expedition and draft. I'm trying to figure out if I should just hold and get my top 100 points for both, or try to push one to top 20 (which awards more points), but risk dropping below 100 in that format.

Offer choice between FoX or Eternal pack for daily reward?

    Posted: 30 Oct 2019 06:39 PM PDT

This may have already been asked so downvote away if so.

DWD - Thinking about the new player experience, it might be cool to offer users a choice between FoX pack or Eternal pack (expedition legal cards from other sets) as part of daily reward!

And if you could have an option to buy some eternal packs also you would have atleast one customer :)

A Nobody's Best Decks For Climbing (Tier List)

    Posted: 30 Oct 2019 03:17 PM PDT

Hi, it's me again, Nobody special. I appear whenever experienced content creators have failed for too long to provide a real tier list for the new players. With no real (i.e. more than 10 people) tournaments, it's hard to see what's good and what's not. So I'm just gonna tell you. This is a true tier list for deck strength/ability to climb in ranked, not a popularity list like Meta Monday. I don't like expedition so I won't be discussing it.

After hitting masters (with Skycraggro, RIP), I played each of the T1-T2 decks at least 10 times in ranked to get a feel for its power, strengths, and weaknesses. Many of them I played much, much more than that. Then we had a balance patch and I had to do it all over again. I've also discussed them with some of the top 10 masters rank players.

If you think I'm wrong, please, comment here why or better yet, make your own tier list so I don't have to. I won't be linking to specific lists because most of the decks have some flex slots depending on the meta. If you're not sure what deck I'm referring to, feel free to ask.

    T1: Skycrag Spells, Praxis Ramp

    T1.5: FTP Peaks, Stonescar Aggro

T2: Elysian Maul/Aggro, Elysian <anything with Spellshaper>, Xulta Arcanum, Old Unitless

T3: Even Paladins, Dragon Mastery, Rakano Onis, Even Praxis, Hooru Midrange/Control, Combrei Aggro, Combrei Midrange, Skycrag Aggro

T4: Rat Relics, Siraf Winchest, Other Jank

    T1

There's a reason Praxis Ramp is the #1 most played deck on ladder; Ramba is OP. Meta Monday already covered this pretty well. I may be biased due to being so sick of unitless, but only slightly.

Skycrag Spells also remains on top despite the nerfs to Garden. I find the ones that include Rost to perform slightly better than the ones that go more unitless, especially since Rost gives a big middle finger to every Praxis unit except Kairos. However since one of the main draws of this deck is how inexpensive it is, you'll likely run into a lot of decks without him.

FTP Peaks is just as strong as it's always been, and is better than it used to be thanks to having solid 4-health removal spells and not having to worry about Skycrag Aggro blitzes.

Stonescar Aggro is the sole survivor of good aggro decks, and does a good job preying on the massive control decks or Midrange decks that don't draw into removal/early units.

    T2

I know, your favorite deck isn't T1 and you're mad about it. Fine, explain why in the comments. Odds are it's one of these. Elysian has potential to be T1 but I don't think we've settled on a good list yet. The newer Spellshaper decks don't perform much better than the standard Maul lists (which are just as feast or famine as they've always been but have generally good matchups against Praxis) despite Spellshaper being absolutely OP. The Arcanum lists, whether they be the 'go big' or 'Alessi' variants are fun, use a lot of big expensive legendaries, and die really well to Skycrag Spell decks. Otherwise they'd also be T1. Thankfully they're moderately favored against Praxis. Old Unitless is still hanging on, but the Defiance nerf really hurt and the influence nerf on Garden is actually more relevant than it appeared at first glance in a 3f deck.

    T3

Here's all the new stuff that hasn't really panned out. Dragons, Oni, Varret/Mastery are about on par with Hooru and Combrei (yeah, those Justice nerfs sucked). There's probably too much to talk about here so I'll leave it to the inevitable comments. I'm sure I've also missed a few T3 decks.

So there you have it, Kairos is King but there are plenty of other options. If you're on a budget, Skycrag Spells is the way to go. But what do I know, I'm Nobody.

BONUS Best Gauntlet Deck: Sodi's Spellshaper, but swap out the scribes for 2-cost ramp cards since Gauntlet likes to power screw you.
