Whispers in the Void to Masters! Posted: 10 Apr 2020 09:44 AM PDT That's right! I've been playing this game from early on in open Beta and I've been trying to build a Deck that will get there with this card ALL that time. Here it is. Obvs the fact that Grodov's Moron is feeling the hate and has dropped off in use helped me on my 6 game winstreak at Diamond 1... Grodov's Burden, killer effects and Whispers were made to be together. In particular Timepiece and Makkar's Quiver are sweet. But you have to get there, hence the manna dorks - you will always choose shadow with Trail-maker - and my boy Ayan plus Vara. It is fragile to aggro, naturally, but the Abductor LOVES to smoosh weenies. I wondered whether this game could make me any happier than last month when I finally crawled over the line with Restrained Rider (https://eternalwarcry.com/decks/d/0V7us_hMppM/restrained-rider), but it can and it has. Thank you DWD for this marvellous game of ours. Decklist: [link] [comments]
Am I alone in detesting unitless control decks? Posted: 10 Apr 2020 02:33 PM PDT No other deck makes me want to quit playing, salty post but it's just so strikingly unfun. What is it about kill draw kill draw kill draw wipe wipe draw wipe draw draw wipe wipe draw wipe draw wipe win that irritates me so much more than any other gameplan? [link] [comments]
why i hate time 3.0 i did it again Posted: 10 Apr 2020 01:33 PM PDT so, some time ago i made this post. some users decided to brush the points aside because i used evenhanded golems. i made it back to masters again, this time i have devised a deck without using merchants, quick markets, evenhanded golems or using the newest expansion (wott). im masters rank 140 deck is given below: note that bouncing is a good counter to the milos decks, you can also sub in talir's intervention for fast silence. please note that you can used the deck without seal of devotions (obviously you can improve it if you have a set of 4 but i dont) game plan is simple. slam grodov or worldbearer, killer or charge it to thin the deck. i highly recommend temple tactics (you can still go without it) since your only real removal outside of killing is teleport. tocas is the broken counter in mirror matches and you should save bounces for tocas if you suspect a mirror. dont be afraid of chumping with tocas vs aggro since its body is pretty big. teleport can also be used to prevent a harsh rule wipe; if your stranger or behemoth have killer/charge they can be slammed for another rush. would anyone else like to add another restriction for the next go, or has the point that time has too much been shown? currently i am at: must be time no market in anyway (this one was a pain since new market cards are pretty busted, especially blazing salvo) no evenhand no using the newest expansion PS - im not even going to get into how every deck is basically has time to some degree, with the exception of stonescar aggro and skycrag aggro (ill give this one, milo is strong). edit-nice downvotes lol. time is busted, just accept it [link] [comments]

OldIronNuts' Saturday Night Casual Tourney: Elves Unseen! Posted: 10 Apr 2020 05:24 AM PDT Every Saturday night King OIN holds a casual tournament on his Twitch stream. Tomorrow night we will be running decks with 24+ cards with they keywords Elf, Elves or Unseen (including non-unit cards.) The stream starts at 9pm CDT and unless a lot of people show up early and ready to go, the tourney generally start 1-2 hours after that. We have very long streams on Saturdays; at least 8 hours but usually 10 or even 12 hours. This means people from many time zones can drop in and play or watch and see if they get inspired to throw a deck together to play with us as long (or briefly) as they wish. These events are designed with special rules to make people think outside the meta and just have fun; there are no prizes other than bragging rights! Multiple champions can and often are declared when someone on the top of the heap has to leave the stream before it is over. So please do stop by OldIronNuts' Twitch stream tomorrow to watch our knights, lords and ladies battle it out, and if this sounds fun to you, all you have to do to enter is show up with a Throne deck that conforms to the above rules! We'll save a seat for you in the Great Hall! -Nethescurial (Magistrate of Music, Mayhem and Marketing) [link] [comments]
