Calebovitsch's Argent Depths 9.0 Draft Card Ratings of Awesomeness

    Posted: 14 Jul 2020 10:31 PM PDT

Hey guys! The draft ratings of awesomeness for Argent Depths are finally here! All Set 9 and Curated pack cards have been rated in two categories - the General Rating (card value in a vacuum) and Synergy Rating (this one should be obvious).

Please remember that drafting experiences may vary and these are just my personal thoughts about the power level and synergies of cards. Also, remember that these numbers are not the be-all and end-all of making good drafting choices.

Is there really ever a good reason to have more than 25 power cards???

    Posted: 15 Jul 2020 09:48 AM PDT

I'm pretty new to the game, but am already a huge fan. I'm wondering about deck building in general...

My general question: Is it a good idea to keep your power cards to 1/3 of your deck? Are there top-tier decks that use more than 25 power cards (or more than 75 cards total)?

Should I always try to stick to 75 cards with the minimum number of power cards?

Make Evenhanded Golem cost 3 mana

    Posted: 14 Jul 2020 07:06 PM PDT

I did not stutter, 3 mana.

    why? you ask.

Why not just 4 mana like everyone is saying?

DWD will probably buff its stats to compensate and it will still be meta relevant, failing to neuter the card.

My idea is far more hilarious and will eviscerate this card from Throne as only being able to run one copy will destroy the consistency of even decks. will it really be worth it to run one copy of evenhanded in exchange for having to run only even cost cards.

honestly, this "nerf" might make not even kill the card as hilarious that would be.

(This is (not) a joke post)
