    Epoch Infestation.

So... what is this card supposed to do? It doesn't attack or block on drop. It requires 2 spells/clockroaches per turn to attack or block per turn?

Am I reading this wrong? You need to spend 2 cards per turn to attack (or two fast spells to block)? Without generating any draw (other than the echo from roach)? It's not even a lord for roaches, so what was the intention behind this card? Considering that Roaches are "stat ramp" cards anyways, why does it have such a ridiculous effect with such high stats?

Jaxxis tests a theory: Vows vs. No Vows in mono-faction decks

Vow or no vow in mono color Expedition? What Team are you on?

    Posted: 19 Jul 2020 09:06 PM PDT

I'm team vow. I liked thinning in MTG and I like it here too. Most matchups 1 or 2 health doesn't matter and I like drawing less power later on.

    Ten Tickles + Spell power

    Why are players so slow.

    Posted: 19 Jul 2020 05:51 PM PDT

It shouldn't take you 30 seconds to end your turn when you have zero power left and nothing to attack with. Why do people even start a game if they aren't going to pay attention and play the game? It's more annoying than losing.

    Overwhelm question

    Posted: 19 Jul 2020 03:27 PM PDT

Had an interesting scenario turn up in a game that felt like it should have gone differently in a couple of different ways. I want to check I understood it correctly. This will probably be a mess to describe so bear with me.

I'm attacking with a 9-attack Marley, Heroic Marshal (who has overwhelm) and some other 5/5. My opponent has four cards in hand, I have three.

My opponent blocks the 5/5 with a 5/5 of theirs, and double-blocks Marley with 7 total health of units: another 5/5 and a 2/2 lifesteal guy. Both of my opponent's 5/5s have no relevant battle skills.

I go to cast Silverblade Intrusion (I have 5J). As I click on the first unit, the card goes back to my hand and the opponent casts their own Silverblade Intrusion, targeting their 5/5s (so the 2/2 lifesteal guy isn't immune to damage). This frustrates me because now I don't get the extra 3/3, and I wonder if, had I been faster, would I have gotten the extra benefit.

Their Intrusion on the "stack", I go to cast mine again, targeting both my attackers. I notice that the text on my Intrusion says they only have two cards in hand(?), which feels odd.

So all the fast effects are done and combat starts.
My 5/5 hits their 5/5. Both are immune to damage, so they bounce.
My Marley hits 2/2 lifesteal and their 5/5. Marley has overwhelm and 9 attack vs 7 health, so even though I'm not killing all the blockers I'm expecting to "trample over" for 2 damage.

Instead, the 2/2 lifesteal unit dies, Marley hits the 5/5, does 0, and no damage goes over.

As far as I can tell, there was no animation to say the damage got cancelled out by the 2/2 lifesteal gaining them life, and there shouldn't have been because Marley is immune to damage for the turn.

    So my questions are:

    - Does Overwhelm not let the damage go over because the blockers didn't die?

    - Would I have gotten the benefit from Intrusion if I had faster apm, or is there a hidden priority system I don't know about?

    Hello,

bloody beginner here. Please, can someone post me some links to nice beginner/budget decks on eternalwarcry? Which deck should I import and focus building when considering multiplayer? (just played lots of gauntlet, have some theme-decks now).
