| Prism Golem and the Future of Neutral/Factionless Posted: 27 Aug 2020 02:38 AM PDT Prism Golem came out upon release as a great way to bolster mono-faction and yet not favor multi-faction. Looking over the neutral cards we have, I feel like Prism Golem is a Neutral card done right and I'd love to see more like it and perhaps suggest to DWD to make Prismatic a keyword. Prism Golem would be a 7/7 Prismatic -2/-2, where it gets -2/-2 for each faction you have (same as now). But there could also be a card that say Prismatic 2 cost, where the cost increases by 2 for each faction you have. Some Prismatic cards could have benefits for multi-faction in the other direction - Prismatic +0/+1 or whatever. Thoughts? I'd love to see more neutral cards and while I understand that they need to be well balanced enough to fit in any deck/color, I think it's time we got a more fleshed out neutral section. It's been a long time since I played MTG- would anyone who has played it more recently describe their philosophy around Colorless cards? Not that Eternal has to follow after them, but I think it can show what sort of things are available.
