Although the cards were not as great as I hoped for (lack of flyers/endurance, couldn't find any good units outside of the 2-5 range, almost no bombs until Tavrok on the last pick), it had sufficient blockers and removal for bronze at least, and the Exalted/Revenge mods helped too. Things might have turned out quite differently if I had gone for the Striking Snake Formation (Time) on the first pick, but I took Justice as I was more familiar with it and not sure about what units will be offered later on Just sharing this so that other new players will know that this is something they can cruise through even without a perfect-ish deck. Any comments are welcome (especially for the cards I did not pick) [link] [comments] | ||

If I spent as much money on this game as I did Hearthstone, how would my collection be? Posted: 27 Sep 2020 06:42 AM PDT Since April 2018, I have bought every $50 pre-order of Hearthstone and the $80 pre-order of the latest expansion. That's $430. I can typically expect to have 2 to 3 viable meta-decks at anytime which sounds good but there are often 6 to 8 good decks in the meta. Comparing the money I spent over two years, how would my collection in Eternal compare? Would it still be limited to a few meta-decks per rotation or would I have more deck options?
