    User Error on Streamlabs

    Posted: 24 Nov 2020 11:33 AM PST

Just while i had a decent crowd on streamlabs I was editing a deck list, and then my stream just turned off. Is there a specific key to end the stream? I'm trying to put out a better product and learn streamlabs more to prevent future blunders. Any tips would be appreciated

I just earned the 10-win expedition achievement with a Xumuc Shaman deck that initially thought would be a meme

    Posted: 23 Nov 2020 04:17 PM PST

    The list in question: https://eternalwarcry.com/decks/d/GEUzPIUl8nM/top-100-xumuc-shaman-nullblade-deck

The core package of Xumuc Shaman, Blightmoth, and Wyatt's Junkyard was what spurred the creation of this deck - Blightmoth both shrinks enemy units and has flying to better benefit from the shaman's buffs, and junkyard can both shrink enemy units and recur your buffed units. Null blade was a later addition when I realized shrinking multiple units in the enemy void would buff your board multiple times! I thought it would be just a fun way to use an under-appreciated card, but I gave the list to Johnkkez when he asked for jank on his stream and he hit top 100 with it! Later in the day, I fired up eternal and won the first 11 games I played, shooting my rank from 120 to 28 on the expedition masters ladder.

I've always strongly believed that there are tons of good cards that the community glosses over as "unplayable" because they require some support to really shine. Xumuc shaman might be one of them.

This deck is All American! It features units with big bodies who won't shut up!

I'm not sure if this is a viable deck but I'm positive that the interaction between a few of the cards look like they could make a deck. This deck plays with Gerrit, Throne Guardian and Yojimba, Ghostblade with a handful of enablers and imitators. Plus, thanks to the new arrival Broti, Bastion's Hope, Yojimba is no longer a dead draw without protection. Even silenced, Broti will allow Yojimba to swing for 6, which isn't bad for a 4-cost unit. The dream is to protect Yojimba from their own ability with Gerrit or Lida's Apprentice, even if said Gerrit or apprentice is only a Learned Imitator in disguise.

My rough draft of a proposal for a possible competitive season next year

    Posted: 23 Nov 2020 07:01 PM PST

Okay so before I start a few things to note, the melee events return, more formats, 32 competitors at worlds, and worlds will happen in december

alright so here's the spots for worlds

    4 draft championship players

    4 lcq players

    4 throne ecq winners

    4 expedition ecq winners

    4 peasant ecq winners

    4 pauper ecq winners

    1 gauntlet speedrun winner

    1 gauntlet endurance winner

    1 forge vs ai winner

    1 forge vs player winner

    4 season championship winners

as for when these events happen not sure, thats up to dwd if they decide to go that route

im sure you guys have questions on certain events like the gauntlet and forge events so ill explain. the gauntlet speedrun event would be as the name suggests, the best time wins a spot at worlds, the gauntlet endurance event would be playing gauntlet till you lose with the highest score winning the event, the forge vs ai would be the same. the forge vs player would be a normal tournament but with a forge draft for each entrant then playing the matches with a day 2

the melee events happen every 2 weeks to avoid burnout and allow you to get qcp for the seasonal championships

if there is anything i missed or you have a question, feel free to comment as i would love to expand this idea more
