| Posted: 25 Oct 2019 04:06 PM PDT There will be a brief downtime Monday morning starting (7:00 am MDT, 14:00 UTC) while we perform some maintenance and turn on in-game Expedition Leaderboards. Like Ranked and Draft, Expedition Leaderboards will follow the Chapter structure, and will roll over at the end of each month. Your initial ranking is derived from your Expedition match history for the entire month of October, and will reset on November 1. When we come out of downtime, Expedition leaderboards may not be visible on all platforms! A rolling update will be required; in the meantime, you can check out the top 100 and your personal rank and badge on the website (login required). Even if you can't see the Leaderboard yet in-client, games are being tracked and will continue to count toward your overall placement. (Web data is updated periodically; please check for a time stamp which will show you the most recent update.) A note about QCP: In our World Championship announcement, we announced that the October leaderboard will grant Quarterly Championship Points to our Top 100 Masters. We will be granting those points to qualifying players Monday 11/4, after the season rollover, based on final standing. | Posted: 25 Oct 2019 03:13 PM PDT Direwolf never seems to disappoint when it comes to bringing old unused cards from the past to the forefront with every update. Enter Jack's Knife. With the addition of the Xultan Brushfang we can have a 6/7 unit w/deadly at turn 2. Cabal Bludgeoner is a decent option to play Jack's Knife as well. Time is just hot right now. With the majority of all the top decks over the past month consisting of time to some degree. It really makes sense to try to make use of the new mastery and exalted skills. Ardent Convert has many uses in this deck. When you hit this decks sweet spot at 4 power you can sacrifice it to Ravenous Thornbeast after boosting it with Spiteful Strike which gives you an 7/7 unit with quickdraw and lifesteal. Let's take a look at the Sword of Judgement. So at 4 power we can throw this down on any 4 damage or higher unit and with a successful hit the unit can go to 8+ damage next turn. The cards we are targeting are Resolute Monk, Cabal Bludgeoner, and a boosted Xenan Cultist. There just isn't a lot of options for Xenan removal in this season of expedition but let's take a look at the Fell Ritual card. Killing a unit giving you trouble isn't just a relief when you get a 5/5 unit with lifesteal and flying in your void while doing it. We just need to figure out how to bring it back. Again, there's not a lot of options for return in expedition this round but a decimated Immortalize can bring this card back and if you've got 6 power you can bring it back exalted in one turn. Posted: 25 Oct 2019 07:41 PM PDT I built a time shadow deck that seems to do okay in casuals, but the moment i bring it to expedition, i get my ass handed to me, i have very limited knowledge of this game as i'm pretty new, and never really played card games prior to this, but I'm enjoying it so far, would definitely enjoy it more if i could pull out a win once in a while though. | I could never attack with xo of the endless hoard Posted: 25 Oct 2019 03:41 PM PDT Since j crafted my first expensjve deck, icaria blue, i used many variations of it, and now i am currently playing the praxis+green deck.. all those have in common a card, xo of the endless hoard, such a powerful 8 drop with a totally amazing effect... j could never trigger. In probably a hundred games, i have played him, and for some reason i could almost never get him to attack once (does not mean j lost the game, it means it always got its attack negated or he was destroyed before being able to attack) the only time i could attack with it in a pvp match, was vs an afk player... im not salty about it, its just weird... since he does not have aegis and he js a big threat if he attacks, enemjes always use thwir removals on him... j started using him as a bait for enemy removal spells so they have nothing to pop icaria's aegis or remove the other big threats coming after it [link] [comments] | ||

Needs a deck built around it,dies to snowball,torch,3 for a 1/1 is really risky,and you can only take value from it on turn 4+. Maybe a cost nerf or making it a 1/2,2/2?
