| 3 fun (and Consistent) Gauntlet decks! Posted: 15 Dec 2019 07:41 AM PST Gauntlet is something we all have to deal with to grind gold, but it can get pretty stale playing the same thing over and over, so I wanted to share some of the decks I've been working on with you all. Combrei Exalted Killers Rakano Dragon Forge Toolbox I think I like rakano aggro more than other people do in gauntlet, it's always been a pretty strong choice for me. The key to gauntleting with rakano, is not going full aggro, and not quite mid either. I believe there is a sweet spot where you avoid units that die to 1-damage ping effects (ronin, hojan etc), but also stay low enough on the curve that you don't lose to powerscrew with 5 and 6 drops stranded in your hand. One thing I want to note is the lack of Highland Sharpshooter. This card is really fun, and can be pretty explosive with Warhelm, but I just don't think the card disadvantage is worth it. It will definitely cost you some games against the grindier decks Elysian Dinos These decks all function pretty well as is, but there is definitely some room for flexibility if you don't own all of the cards, so if you need to replace something, leave a comment on eternalwarcry, and I'll gladly suggest some other options. | Posted: 15 Dec 2019 12:43 PM PST For few days of playing, plus it happens pretty much all the time, I pick one deck and play Throne (Ranked) for 10-20 matches straight, usually in the same rank brackets. So, just today I got easy-breasy 6 win-streak, with good hands and pretty good draws, and then I got 8 losses straight. Last two games I just conceded before the start, because hands were SO horribe, for 3 mulligans... For first two I didn't get enough Sigils and on last one I got 3 sigils of the same suit, twice in arow, which usually means you won't be getting another suit of Sigil for at least 3 rounds (works like that almost every time for me). If I do get okaish hand, opponent gets godly one that completely destroys me by turn 3, well, in first turn even during these lose streaks. Just curious, is it something wrong with me, or game works like that for pretty much everyone? [link] [comments] | ||

| Is Voprex, the Great Ruin any good? Posted: 15 Dec 2019 02:16 AM PST I play a single copy of him in my Stonescar Dragon deck so that I can draw him when I need him with Dragon Forge. However, it seems that whenever I play him my opponent either has lethal on board or lethal in hand and discarding the one they don't need doesn't achieve anything. And when this doesn't happen it's because either the opponent's hand is empty or their board is and his Summon effect doesn't do anything. So is he any good or should I cut him?
