    This is just me bringing cube drafting to Eternal every Sunday on my stream. We draft formats of my design on an EternalWarcry simulator then import them into the game client to challenge one another in a casual setting. Most cube drafts create some super interesting and intense game play due to the overall power level of the decks. Here is the draft, the deck construction, and the game play.

    Deck Check - Spring Break (EXPEDITION)

    Does Seek Power fetch a random sigil or the top sigil from my deck?

    Top sigil = thin out flood, beneficial for aggro

    Random sigil = same but much less benefit

    What about other cards that draw a sigil, say Hojan, or Grodov's stranger (random sigil)?

    Whats the best site for looking at some top tier Expedition decks? Looking for maybe a good Stonescar Queen deck or similar.

    A strange and frustrated bug with Nullblade

    I just experienced a very frustrated bug. I should have lost that game easily to be honest, yet unfortunately I got lucky and still beat it.

    I thought it had something to do with Nullblade in play. I just can't choose anything from any windows like draw cards from void, market, or draw a stranger from my deck with Traver's farm. There wasn't any cards to choose but Skip button, I kept pressing Skip but it showed up again and I had to wait until my time ran out and passed the turn automatically.

    Odd interaction between icebolt and mournful deathcap?

    So i had a match where i casted ice bolt on the mushroom... But he did proc the empower effect... Is this intended? Cause the "play the sigil" part should be after the damage resolved and i found it odd that the empower effect of the unit still procced

    Market Timer?

    Was there an update that put a timer on accessing market or did I just coincidentally take too long on my turn while being in my market for an extended time?

    I heard what sounded like HS's fuse burning while in market and then it closed and ended my turn. And I never saw or heard the usual avatar glow/timer. I thought it was weird but hope this is actually a thing because one of my bigger gripes with markets was seeing tents galore all the time. At least this way marketing comes with knowing the deck/situation instead of just being a swiss army knife.

    Also, I don't normally play slowly but have been losing a lot lately and also playing less so was a bit rusty while seeking a prayer to get my WotD today.

    Is Expedition or Throne the devs first priority?

    I was wondering if Expedition is a sort of excuse for the devs to stop trying to balance new cards with the older sets. Is this the case? I have no interest in a rotating format, and if Throne will suffer for Expedition's existence I don't think I'll continue playing.

    Gamebreaking bug you all need to be aware of.

    I have reported this multipul times now after each time it happens but everyone needs to be aware of this.

    Old Iron had it happen to him on stream 4-5 turns in a row and I again just had it happen to myself right now. I am not sure what is triggering it but when you go to drag a card on the board to play it instead of playing the client passes your turn for you. I have lost multipul games because of this when I go to use a burn or something and while I drag it to the board I suddenly pass my turn.

    DWD, please, get someone in there and find this and fix it.

    League tie breaker games

    You get an additional 20 tie breaker games for the league, if I don't play them 20 games this week, do I then get 40 tie breaking games next week or is it 20 additional tie breaker gamers per month?

    Eternal gives the first player a significant advantage (Rant)

    Eternal followed MTG play mechanic. Player 1 (referred to as P1) had initiative while player 2 (referred to as P2) had an extra draw however with the last 3 full this balance had been turned on its head with P1 having a ton of extra card draws very early on and even beating P2 in its extra draws. The new cards are already powerful but these cards generate enormous card advantage for player 1 since they can be played earlier.

    The new 1 cost market cards. Since they are all fast spells, they can all be played at the end of your opponents turn which gives P2 no time to respond or counter. Fire and Shadow are both removals, primal gives aegis, time gets to play a 1/1 with ambush, ironically justice is the only 1 that is the most balanced since you would require giving a unit flying. This is also with the added advantage of drawing a card from your market. The first four mentioned can all be used to change the board and draw a card.

    Suggestion for balance: turn them into slow spells this way you can only play them either on turn 1 or turn 2 and use your power on your turn.

    Even Handed Golem: Love it or hate it, Golem is a good draw engine and a solid 2 cost unit with its body, however this card negates P2s advantage over P1 namely that extra card draw. Example for in hand

    p1 turn1: 7 cards - 1 power = 6 cards

    p2 turn1: 7 cards+1draw-1 power = 7 cards

    p1 turn2: 7 cards + 1 draw - 1 power - 1 golem + 2 draw = 7 cards

    p2 turn 2: 7 cards +1 draw - 1 power = 7 cards

    Now this example assumes that neither player played any other card. As we can see, at the end of turn 2 P1 and P2 both have the same number of cards in hand however P1 has the extra advantage of having a unit on the board while P2 has an empty board plus it will be P1s turn. So P2 lost its hand advantage however P1 still has the initiative.

    Suggestion for Balance change: either increase Golems cost to 4 and increase its stats to 4/4,2/4 or 4/2 or increase its card draw to 3 or 4. Another change could be that if ts your first golem you played this game it costs 2 more.

    The new strangers. The cheap strangers ability only activate when you attack with a stranger and guess who can attack first (hint its not the second player). Granger and MakkarS both give enormous advatange just by being summoned as such the first one who plays them gets that advantage earlier. This only backfires when P2 is also playing a stranger deck.

    Suggestion for Balance change: Make Grangers ramp play depleted power. MakkarS should add an extra condition, at the end of your turn discard all the cards you drew from your opponent.

    There were other cards that gave player 1 a significant advantage but they were nerfed so DWD should at least be aware of this problem ((based on balance changes from the last 10 months)

    However there were also cards that gave P2 the advantage or at least blunted P1 initiative that were also nerfed

    -desecrate

    - scream

    - torch

    edit: there are some other cards that I have not touched on that give P1 and advantage example Kairos, the new milos, nahids distillation etc.
