| OIN's Casual Saturday Night Tourney: Snow Time! Posted: 19 Dec 2020 05:27 AM PST Every Saturday night King OIN holds a casual tournament on his Twitch stream. OIN's Casual Saturday Night Tourney: Snow Time We will be running Time-Primal decks that contain at least 10(at least 10 but can be more... more!) cards with word "Yeti". So... Do you want to build a snowman? Or... Sandman? Anyway may some yeti be with you. ^^ As always, original brews are encouraged over net decks; nothing is at stake tonight but a good time! The stream usually starts at 9 pm CST and unless a lot of people show up early and ready to go, the tourney generally starts 1-2 hours after that. We have very long streams on Saturdays; at least 8 hours but usually 10 or even 12 hours. This means people from many time zones can drop in and play or watch and see if they get inspired to throw a deck together to play with us as long (or briefly) as they wish. [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 19 Dec 2020 10:32 AM PST Xenan Mandrakes is probably one of the most broken deck archetypes I've ever seen in Expedition, like OG Rakano from Argent Depths but worse. I really have no idea how it possibly could've made it through Direwolf's QC process. It's so OP that it's not even close to balanced, not even within miles of balanced. Why do devs seem to love to release a new set with something completely broken and then nerf it later. Just make it balanced to begin with so the game can be fun. I feel like they're trying to sell cards off a truly OP deck because they obviously know people want to win. Unfortunately, when they put something OP in the game, there are players that just cannot help themselves, they HAVE TO run the broken deck like a dope addiction. It's honestly 2 out of every 3 decks I'm matching against. I'm not having fun with this new set because there's one deck that's so clearly the best that it makes every other option less viable. They can just dump units on the board, draw cards and constantly play beefed up units from the void. The units have deadly, lifesteal and ever-increasing attack values, and your units get silenced or removed outright. They have to fix this shit or I guarantee you people are going to burn out on this new set incredibly fast. Expedition is broken right now. [link] [comments] | ||
