    Eternal DCCG is great

    Posted: 23 Oct 2020 10:03 AM PDT

I just wanna say that ive played eternal since closed beta, which means for around 4 years. I have had some ups and downs but the game is still great!

Just think about it....an indi digital ccg game with no promotion, in client tournaments, steady flow of new content, make some clear advantage of being a digital product/ with cool game mechanics.

Come on guys and girls, give them some upvotes, comments and alot of love ❤️

Thx DWD for bringing a great DCCG! (Probably the best in the world....which isnt bad....) 😉

It's Eternal's birthday, and you get all the presents!

    Posted: 23 Oct 2020 03:40 AM PDT

Good morning Everyone! For an Eternal birthday celebration we need more than a week to celebrate the occasion! now, I posted an image of a lot of goodies I plan on giving away, so let's go over all of the ways that I will be getting them out:

    - Every stream during the celebration will have a open to all giveaway for a Curiox totem code OR a ooze mug (some people have the Curiox already, so this is a secondary option for those people)

(Curiox totem code comes with the Curiox Totem, 10 packs, and a draft ticket)

-Every stream during the celebration will also include a giveaway of an additional code worth 5 packs, and a draft ticket.

    - next week on twitter, there will be a eternal: chronicles of the throne at home organized play, where people will post a picture of their winning decklists for a shot at some adorable promo whirly-twirly cards to include in their copy of the game!

    - later in the week, there will be an additional at home organized play with the same rules to win one of four vara life counters!

    - There will also be extra stream days, and the first extra day is tonight!

All of these giveaways are going to be done on my stream (https://www.twitch.tv/kasendrith) or for Chronicles, on my twitter (https://twitter.com/kasendrith)

Thanks for being such an amazing community, and I look forward to some extra un-announced goodies next week as well!

*Thanks to the reddit mod team for pre-approving my announcement*

    Seeing this after updating. Bug?

    Posted: 23 Oct 2020 08:29 AM PDT

I haven't played in forever, but this celebration event seems like a good time to come back. Can someone catch me up on the current formats and meta?

    Posted: 23 Oct 2020 01:35 PM PDT

According to steam I have over 500 hours played in this game, but I can't really remember the last time I played it.

Back in the day I really enjoyed chalice decks (before they were good) and clockroaches (they were never good), but just looking through the cards from the newer sets it looks like power creep has made everything I know obsolete.

What is good today? With every card unlocked during the event, which decks should I look to try?

What are your opinions about the expedition and throne formats? Are the metas good and how do they differ? Which format should I focus on?

Please help me get up to date :)

    Hasty Builder Bug

    Posted: 23 Oct 2020 10:23 AM PDT

    Hasty Builder Bug

Just thought I would share this with the community since I have already added a bug report.

    https://preview.redd.it/iuhly56apvu51.png?width=1917&format=png&auto=webp&s=d84b38aa6513f07728f9c2cfe51aa33f06fcd6a7

So I was just playing a guantlet game and came across a bug with Hasty Builder. If he is a possible defender but still has his ultimate ability, and you click on him to select him as a defender, the ability select popup shows on his card (the green popup you see when choosing to attack or use ability before combat phase has started) and you cant select him as a defender. The green popup does nothing as well.

I'm not sure how this affects other cards with ultimate abilities, with Hasty Builder on the board, I just noticed it on Hasty Builder. Also for reference the Hasty Builder on the right in my picture already had his ultimate ability used.

P.S. dont mind my weird deck idea :)

Sell me your most broken cards pre-nerf

    Posted: 23 Oct 2020 02:02 AM PDT

Just a simple question: which cards that shaped entire decks and had to be nerfed were the most powerful?

If possible, justify your answers please

    Mysterious Prismatic Cardback?

    Posted: 23 Oct 2020 06:31 AM PDT

Hi all! I am curious if any of you have run across a kind of rainbow-ey shimmering cardback. A person I just played in the monthly event had it and I'd never seen it before. I didn't think to screenshot it b/c I didn't realize that it wasn't listed in the cardback list. I can't find a reference to it anywhere so now my curiosity is peaked.

Anyone else run across it or even know what I'm referencing? I feel like I've got a bit (more) crazy and imagined it at this point. 😅
