Boring is Good! FECast ep. 45 feat. Schaab

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EB8hfa9jKxg

Episode 45 of FECast is up! This week we talk with u/schaab214 about some of his writing, and we go over important aspects of mindset and overcoming bias. I think this one was really good and had some great points brought up, so I definitely recommend it.

(Also this was released earlier in the week and I just forgot about posting it until now)

This week on FECast, Sunyveil and Stormblessed are joined by Schaab, author of several articles about draft in Eternal on his site Let's Talk Limited. After recapping last weekend's Summer Expedition Championship results, they discuss how drafting boring decks can make you a better drafter overall.

    2 color clockroach (expedition)

I remember having fun with this deck when I played (2-3) years ago. Is it viable in expedition? I noticed they printed some new clockroches

Just wondering why this game is not more popular?

    Posted: 02 Oct 2020 04:50 PM PDT

I have been playing this game on and off for a couple years now and i cannot seem to understand how it is not as popular as other card games like hearthstone, yugioh, magic etc.

    Does anyone have an explication?

Any good self-mill style of deck?

    Posted: 03 Oct 2020 12:23 AM PDT

tryin to play dredge here, i like shoveling my deck into the void/GY and treating my void/GY as extra cards in-hand. is there a flashback style mechanic in the game?

so far I've found arcanum hourglass, which is cool, but crucible of worlds generally isn't a win condition on its own.

Draft Championship - Top 8 Showdown this Sunday!

How much shiftstone do people usually spend to make/complete a specific deck?

    Posted: 02 Oct 2020 11:04 PM PDT

Given that some decks have 10 legendaries (means 30k), do people start with 1 or 2 copies each for the key cards before deciding they will go for the whole thing?

Here's something I'd like to see in the game....

    Posted: 02 Oct 2020 04:18 PM PDT

In gauntlet, if you lose a game you could replay it over with the cards in your deck and the cards in the AI deck in the same exact order as the previous game.

This way you can see if you could have won that game if you just played it in a different way. There would be no bonus for winning, you'd get no pay off in coins or anything, just something to see if you could have done it differently.

Can DWD make pack of the day automatically granted on a certain amount of losses already?

    Posted: 02 Oct 2020 07:58 PM PDT

I've literally lost 12 games in a row today. And before you ask, no I'm not bad or new, I've made masters every single season for the last four years or so. With how volatile matchmaking is, it's not uncommon to randomly go on huge winning or losing streak simply based on deck matchups. As an example, today I pretty much only ended up playing against decks that hard countered mine.

I know this sub probably hates the idea of rewarding people for losing, but all I'm suggesting is awarding the pack of the day after like five losses. And if they're worried about abuse I'm sure they can rig it to prevent that.
