    Hilarious casual game

    Posted: 04 Nov 2021 08:40 AM PDT

I've been having a ton of fun with this game the last couple of weeks. I've built a few decks for fun without looking up meta/efficient strategies, including a blue flying deck (bad), a red grenadin deck (also bad), a purple lifesteal deck (fun and not bad) and a red/Green warcry deck (super fun and seems to work really well).

I jumped into a casual game for my first win today and decided to dust off my lifesteal deck. Mulligan into a hand with 4 power, Cabal Cutthroat and Ransack. I'm up against some green deck.

Play cabal cutthroat and get up to 4 power, playing a weapon that gives him deadly, I haven't drawn any other units besides the cutthroat. Play ransack and draw a green sigil and Justice Sketch.

I immediately play Justice Sketch. After a couple of turns Cabal Cutthroat is up to 16/16 with deadly and quickdraw. My health pool is exploding. I still don't have any more units but my opponent doesn't have any silence or removal spells. He does have a unit that draws a 1/1 Valkyrie, then increases +1/+1 and draws a valkyrie on the next turn, so I can't actually hit him but I'm lifestealing faster than he can attack.

The game went on for ages. I ended up with over 1k hp, finally drew another unit and started doubling that one, and killed the unit that kept playing more valkyries. My singular Cabal cutthroat was up to 256/256 at the end of the game, but I couldn't draw another unit to save my life.

What an amazing game, and a super fun match. Any other stories of unique game play?

Any tips on making my first deck?

    Posted: 03 Nov 2021 02:50 PM PDT

In the moment i'm only using Primal fury(and funny enough i managed to won against more complex decks in ranked); but anyways, i'm kinda considering making a gunslinger, oni or maybe mandrake with the deck in the shop(maybe i could mix it with some mandrakes that i have, dunno); altough since i'm a begginer i can't afford to create cards with 1600-3200 cost(which most of them seems pretty helpful on these decks).

    Your feln deck is lame

    Posted: 03 Nov 2021 03:40 PM PDT

Yeah, you know the one I am talking about. The one that goes like this every single game. Draw exploit in your opening hand. Play Exploit. (How do people even defend this card as being balanced for a cost 2?) Stall until you can play Vine Grafter and go to market. Good thing your units have regen and are sticky against removal, right? Don't even worry about what happens the next few turns because you on the other hand have universal removal in the form of Feeding Time, or if you are feeling especially daring you'll play Waxing Moon + Ulixa. So creative. Once you're done stalling for power then go to market and play Arach or Black-Sky Harbinger, or maybe both just to rub it in. Give them regen too while you are it because why not use as many broken interactions as possible, right? We get it, you want an OP deck so you can easily work your way to masters, but your games are boring as hell and your deck takes zero skill to play.
